complaint process

 

STEP ONE:  

STEP TWO:  Send an email to your child's campus Principal, Vice Principal and cc: lpryor@bylp.org.

Copy & Paste this in an email: As the parent of (insert child's name here), I am giving authorization and full access to Ms. Lorreen Pryor, Ms. Exquisitive Hundley, Ms. Lisa Stanley and any other representative with Black Youth Leadership Project (BYLP) to act as my child’s advocates. They are to be provided with any and all information pertaining to my child and the incident occurring (insert date here). Thank you for your assistance in this very important matter.

STEP THREE:  Meet with BYLP's advocate team to go over your complaint. (Bring emails and ALL related information; i.e. behavioral reports, emails, videos etc.)

STEP FOUR:  A meeting will be scheduled with your child's school to attempt to put in place a resolution that restores the child.

 

STEP FIVE:  Plan to attend and speak at the next scheduled Board meeting to put your issue on record. STOP SUFFERING IN SILENCE.

 

STEP SIX:  DO NOT TAKE ANY MEETINGS OR PHONE CALLS WITHOUT YOUR ADVOCATE
