GOAT: Black Excellence Bootcamp

The G.O.A.T.: Black Excellence Boot Camp includes:

• Small-group and one-on-one instruction to help students understand the college application process.
• Set up Common App, The Common Black College Application, CSU and/or UC applications
• A personal activity sheet/resume/vitae and advice on the strongest presentation of extracurricular activities for applications
• Admissions essay ,or  PIQ support
• Cultivating a college list, with safe, match and reach schools and strategy for early action, early decision, etc.
• Strategy and timeline to complete remaining application requirements
• Establishment of a dedicated google account for college applications
• College Life Portfolio and Google portfolio folder with application tracker
• Mock interviews to prepare for college fairs
• Mindfulness strategies to help alleviate the stressors of senior year
• Dedicated mentors for ongoing support with our BBSN and BGSN mentors!
