Ode to The Harlem Renaissance

BYLP's Black Prom & Scholarship Fundraiser - Ode to the Harlem Renaissance - will be the event of the year!!  

The Harlem Renaissance was an artistic flowering of the “New Negro” movement as its participants celebrated their heritage and embraced self-expression, rejecting long-standing—and often degrading—stereotypes.  Ode to the Harlem Renaissance is a recognition of a period in time where we were fly, flourishing and thriving.  We want to embody that type spirit even if just for one night as we celebrate bringing young people together.  This social gathering - in a safe environment - will serve as an opportunity for our young people to meet and develop friendships with students from other schools leading up to the BYLP Black Grad Celebration and beyond. We are raising money for scholarships that will be awarded at Black Grad to deserving students.

Please note: high school student ID or school verification REQUIRED, no admittance if we cannot verify age and that you are currently in high school
