Learn How SPARK Works

What is SPARK?

SPARK (Students Preparing for Academic Readiness & Knowledge) is BYLP’s academic and life-skills readiness program designed to help middle and high school students build confidence, plan for post-secondary options, and develop self-advocacy skills needed for school and beyond.

SPARK focuses on practical skills—not grades or test prep—and supports students as they navigate academic expectations, future planning, and real-world decision-making.

Participation is based on program capacity and funding availability.
