What Students Will Experience
Engage with Legislative Staff
Students will sit down with elected officials for meaningful conversations that reveal real pathways to leadership and advocacy. These interactions inspire curiosity, provide insight into today’s challenges, and show students the power of their voices in shaping change.
Step Into Leadership
Through mock legislative sessions, students take on the roles of decision-makers, experiencing first-hand what it means to debate, advocate, and craft policy. These activities deepen their understanding of government while building confidence, critical thinking, and civic responsibility.
Explore the Capitol
Students will tour California’s historic State Capitol, uncovering the stories, spaces, and traditions that influence the state today. From grand chambers to hidden corners, the tour offers an unforgettable, behind-the-scenes look at where laws are made and history comes alive.
