The Black Youth Leadership Project (BYLP) is proud to present its Student Media Program (SMP), made possible by the generous support of the James B. McClatchy Foundation's Lifting Local Voices Grant. As part of this initiative, BYLP is offering a customized student media program designed to empower and educate. The best part? The program is completely free of charge!

BYLP's Student Media Program centered around our Black v. Board of Eduction Podcast is an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess a passion for media and are seeking to showcase their skills in various roles. Whether you have a charismatic on-camera presence, a talent for writing, or proficiency in content creation using your phone, this program offers a platform to demonstrate your abilities. The program operates in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is key.

BYLP is actively seeking individuals for the following roles within the Media Team:

On-Camera Talent: If you have a captivating presence in front of the camera, BYLP wants you! This role involves delivering engaging content and effectively communicating with the audience.

Producers: As a producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire podcast production process. This includes camera work during live podcast, booking guests, cueing stories, engaging commenters during live podcast and displaying comments in real time, and ensuring the smooth execution of the project.
